I couldn’t get back to sleep after the alarm went off at 5.30 this morning. With 8 parcels expected today I thought I’d get Eddie’s walk out the way. He was pleased not to have to wait too long to get to the park, he was less impressed when I tried to cut his walk short. He took one look at his lead and headed away from the gates, evading all attempts to catch him. 20 minutes later after another walk round the bandstand, tennis courts and bowling green he decided it was an acceptable time to leave and sat for his lead. It’s not the first time this has happened either.
