A Real Trouper

Pacific Northwest Alternative Olympics Games (AOG) update:

PNW Athletes are gathering in anticipation of the opening ceremony on February 9.  Cecil Merganser is participating in the ice dancing competition with his partner Chloe but Cecil is concerned that there doesn't appear to be any ice in the area.  Chloe has taken to her bed with a panic attack but Cecil, trooper that he is, could be seen today working on creating a water dancing routine.  Now there's a duck with a can-do attitude!

Weather at the venue is in the 40s and 50s with no sign of ice or snow at the lower elevations where the competitions are scheduled.  Neither Cecil or Chloe know how to ski and the slopes of Mt. Baker seem to be where all the action will be happening.

Cecil and Chloe still have two more days to prepare something for the competition assuming Cecil can entice Chloe out of the weeds where she is resting with a cold cloth on her head.

Your PNW AOG reporter is standing by to report any changes in the situation.
