And so the holiday begins. . . .

Caught the 5.30 am coach to Heathrow and arrived after a good, uneventful journey; ditched the suitcases and headed for the coffee shop... before heading off to acquire a few bits from the Duty free shop.
The flights to Dubai was excellent; the flight was not crowded and the food and drink were excellent. I did not manage to sleep but did see three films.
