Waiting For The End

Just off the Peyia coast, south-west Cyprus lie the sad sight of the Edro III shipwreck, driven onto rocks during a storm in 2011 on the way from Limassol to Rhodes, carrying a cargo of plasterboard. All crew were saved.

Now it awaits dismantling - but due to this being a protected area of natural beauty the necessary permissions cannot be obtained. Checkmate. Eventually the ocean will do the job - someday.
