We were both very surprised to see each other this morning! I have never looked so closely into a bouquetin's eyes before, and certainly never been close enough to see his neat beard, which from the side, gives him the impression of having a rather open mouth (see extra). (Not being on skis has its advantages, I can go safely on my climbing boots to places I would not be able to go on ski boots).
