Cemetery Cyclamen

Cyclamen hederifolium, the Ivy Leaved Cyclamen, clustered around the base of a tree in Earlham Cemetery. This excellent garden cyclamen can be a weed in some gardens, seedlings appearing all over the place. Ants are attracted to the sweet coating on fresh seeds, carrying seeds off and around the garden. Long lived, tubers can reach the size of dinner plates and bear over a hundred flowers.

A damp, grey morning blip after yesterdays rosy sunset.
