Comfort women

Not these in particular but statues to remember this ugly part of war and history. This was during the Sino-Japanese war when Japan invaded China and enslaved Chinese women to provide ‘comfort’ for Japanese soldiers! They are in Central by IFC and I’ve passed them a few times, but never stopped to take a pic.

Don’t know how long they’ll be there.
