Who is this and what can she mean

This lady is an Estate Agent and the property that stands behind her is the reason that we legged it back from Spain. We went to view it today.

Just to retain a level of sensible behaviour, we are seeing another property tomorrow.

All in all, our rebellious period seems to have been short lived. So much for being nomads...

If we go through with it, this will not be the end of our travels, simply a new beginning. This part of France will make a perfect base for local touring in what is a simply gorgeous area but also for touring the rest of Europe. There are easy flights home from Limoges. The house would provide a home base but we would hope to be gone for months at a time on our explorations and adventures.

I must confess myself enchanted with Bussière-Poitevine, which appears to be a perfect French village and has everything necessary for comfortable living. There is a health centre, Boulangerie, Boucher, two general grocery stores, a couple of Tabac/Presse and one hotel/bar/restaurant plus a florist, hairdresser, builders merchants, mediatheque and an ironmongery. Oh and a Salon du Thè! All the comforts of home.
