Loughrigg Tarn and Little Langdale

A stunning morning, cold and crisp with fabulous blue skies and sunshine. Couldn't't resist the temptation to do one of my favourite low level walks. Parked at Skelwith Bridge and had a quick blast up to Loughrigg Tarn (see extras) which was calm and still. After retracing my footsteps I headed up past the waterfall and along the Brathay towards Elterwater. The blip is Wetherlam reflected in the Brathay. In extras is a panoramic shot of the Langdales and Elter Water. I continued through Elterwater into Little Langdale, over Slater's Bridge and back along the Cumbria Way past Colwith Force. The sun disappeared about midday but that didn't detract from what was a great day.
