Need for speed

A great day at Miranda.  Well known for the resident and migratory waders...like this bar-tailed godwit, just starting to show its Northern summer breeding plumage. I love the patterns on the underside of the wings. Note to self...go back there another day when the tides are right (first 2 hours after high) and allow plenty of time (and memory card space).
