Sunset, heading homeward

I spent most of the morning in the back garden, getting the borders tidied up a bit, with the help of Ollie and Bonny the Bantam!  She was determined to get in on the act, and seemed to be finding lots to eat and peck at from under the dead leaves.

Had to stay around the house for the chap coming to lay the carpet in the newly decorated study/craft room.  He made a quick and tidy job of it and it looks great.

Riding this afternoon.  Last week H asked me whether I'd be happy to work for her one afternoon a week, as she's finding there are things which she needs help with.  These include rebuilding stone walls, clearing of ditches, mucking out six stables, moving round bales of haylage, rehanging gates etc, etc!  Not the sort of help the average 80 year old woman asks for help with!  Naturally, today I said yes!  Looking forward to the tractor driving which will involved . . . !
