Annaty Burn

An early start (for me) to have a screw removed from a tyre. The tyre pressure monitoring system worked well; otherwise I might not have noticed until the tyre was really soft.

There was a cold wind, so Mrs P and I wimped out and walked via Quarrymill to Scone. After a very enjoyable light lunch and pint at the pub there, we were refreshed enough for the walk back to Perth.

I think we need pubs along more of our walks. The norm for us is a sandwich and flask of tea sitting on a soggy grass bank in the middle of nowhere.
