North Yorkshire walking

Left town today on our Club winter walking break.

We travelled south to Skipton in Yorkshire, stopping at Rheged for a breakfast stop.  Then before reaching Skipton we walked from Sedbergh to Catholes, a beautiful walk in the snow taking in the River Rowthey and up to Long Rigg Fell and down to Gale Garth, then following the River Dee to Catholes.

Walk over we travelled on to our hotel on the outskirts of Skipton, and had a good dinner and chat afterwards, falling into bed quite early as a full day planned for tomorrow.

Put on an extra of the snow covered gorse, just because I liked it.
