Reframed

After yesterday's empty wall blip I thought I would show you the new frame that is now in place. We did quite a lot of reframing yesterday. We have had this Alphonse Mucha Art Nouveau print for over 30 years. We've got 3 actually, all 'stolen' from a calendar which belonged to mrsfb's German penfriend, Monika. We reframed the other two as well, though in less ornate frames. I like them a lot - they make a nice change from the Pre-Raphaelites which are everywhere else in the house!

Had an interesting day yesterday. We had to collect my brother-in-law and his wife from Cheltenham Spa station, but were late because the A40 was totally closed at Northleach because of a serious accident the day before. We had decided to get some fish and chips from Simpsons on our way home from the station, but decided to 'eat in' in case the road was still closed on our way home. The fish and chips were excellent, and yes the road was still closed. I decided to try a different route, but the way to that was closed too, so it took an hour to get home, twice as long as usual.

Had a long catch up chat in the evening, but spent most of it exchanging stories about my father-in-law.
