Packing medicine
The good thing about packing to go home is that no choices are required, just the inclination to get on with the job. The latter is helped by a little medicinal fizziness, so now we have only to load the car tomorrow and magic up a meal from the fridge contents.
I spent the morning and lunch with some golf friends; lovely to be with them and also still find my old friend the lake hazard in fine form. Apart from him, play was better than expected and the company jolly; even the sleety, rainy forecast downgraded itself to just being grey so im not complaining.
Another quick dip over to B's for a cuppa and left over birthday cake (the little girl I used to help at school is now 22 :-0 !!) and then back to face the packing music.
Now another evening of reading my very gripping book - maybe more refreshment required ...
