Along the A9

Cameraman and I have travelled north today to Clachnaharry. We have a wee dog friendly cottage sandwiched between the Caledonian Canal and the railway line which for a public transport geek like me is very heaven. We came through a range of weather on the way but I was lucky enough to take this photograph from the car (Cameraman was driving) just south of Dalwhinnie. There are a few reflections but you get the picture.

We are very comfortable in Otter Cottage (yes that is really the name) and have had a stroll along the canal. The Clachnaharry Inn is also dog friendly and is about two minutes away. We have lovely views to the front of the canal, Beauly Firth and the Kessock Bridge. Really, what’s not to like.
