Preparing for Carnival...

Unfortunately most shops are taking extreme measures for the upcoming Carnival in Aalst. I think it is overkill. Town resembles more like a war zone as feasting "mardi gras".
These are not great pictures but they reflect how my hometown looks like preparing Carnival. Hope the weather be OK tomorrow as this is the "tourist" day festivities continue 'till Wednesday morning...
I took the opportunity to check an old Canon EOS 5D (11 years old). I have added some extra photographs. I am quite surprised what this old sensor can deliver.
