Vaguely Marvellous

Brent Cross

The roof was much more beautiful in my day (see extra downloaded off the internet). I still feel nostalgic for it: memories of the wooden animals outside Waitrose, and being marched from Clark's to Lilley and Skinner in my bare feet after my mum had had a row with a shop assistant who refused to exchange my worn out shoes. Oh, and the thrill of my first Macdonalds. Heady days.

Ftr: drove up to London, it took three hours (yes, three). Then a quick trip to Brent X where we failed fix Amelia's phone or buy Ben trainers. Now we are cooking supper and will spend a quiet evening with my dad while mum is gallivanting.
