Horsing about

So I have the hire car - mobile but small luckily it will only be a week or so.  And because I was disappointed that the blanket had a red panda but not a horse I've been playing - how do you make a baby friendly fun mane?  Adapting the ears worked.

G is very ill again - bad cold or worse - three days of being unable to eat as well as other less pleasant symptoms.  Bad timing since it is his birthday on Monday and now it looks like any celebrating is off.

Then the friend I have been accompanying to the hospital has found out she is seriously ill - her weight isn't the primary cause of her breathlessness - her lungs are badly affected by blood clots.  The scary thing is that had she waited for the local hospital she would have been seen in October and between now and then she would have flown to the Dominican Republic and Cyprus either of which could have proved fatal according to the consultant ....

I have to take her back next week for further scans to see if a cause can be located
