Squishies

After her violin lesson, I went shopping with Inge in Groningen. Inge has been talking about getting a squishy: the latest craze with children. The market proved to be a good place to get some and now Ellis, Inge and Nienke all have their own squishy. In the afternoon I helped my parents with their new computer and now it’s evening and I’m on the couch while Martine is seeing the Dutch Fiddler on the Roof musical with her mother.

In other news: the Dutch Olympic team did a great job today, with the ladies winning gold, silver and bronze in the 3000 meter speed skating event. The Dutch flag with the text ‘Sorry Mr. President, it’s the Netherlands first. And 2nd. And 3rd” made me laugh.
