Forever!!!

Today's picture reminds me that Canada's favourite patriotic song is The Maple Leaf Forever, the words of which are as banal as that other national anthem we sing at respectful moments.

Canada's maple leafs, especially in Fall when they're magnificent and maroon and gleam majestically in the long cool afternoon sunshine, deserve a much more heartfelt poetic tribute.
