The school ski trip

The waiting and preparation finally over it’s time for the ski trip to VAL De Fiemme in Italy!

Zebedee also went in year 10 and really loved it.

Here he is with a practice guitar neck, better than nothing considering he plays fir hours every day and won’t have a guitar in Italy.


Gulli is embarrassed by Max’s coloured beard which he thoughtfully concealed when we dropped him off ;-)

Gulli has downloaded several films on the netflix app for the journey, they were told they could take DVDs for the communal player on the coach but as there are year 7s on board it would have to be age appropriate so just in case the movie is lame he has his own, I also lent him a headphone splitter so he can watch with a friend and battery pack just in case.

He has a huge bag of sweets!

We dropped him down at the coach by 4.30 as instructed, we were told it would leave at 5 but it suddenly departed at quarter to, I suppose everyone was on board, I felt quite tearful.

They will arrive tomorrow late afternoon.

Back home Max and I had a book cull, we need to create some space in the house so we are being ruthless, the truth is none of us really read books. Are usually have a book on the go on my Kindle app and paperback as well but I find that over the last year I just haven’t been reading very much at all.

When Zebedee got back from work we watched Get Him to the Greek, it never disappoints.
