Seeing Beyond Looking

Snow flurries and cheese fondue!

So here's my little cherry red fondue caquelon (pot) which I bought from this little shop: https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2407582688765543520
from the photo on February 6.

Today, we actually do have snow flurries on and off and that's the perfect weather to make a cheese fondue.  I've set the table for two, measured the white wine needed for cooking, prepared a small amount of cornflour mixed with kirsch (cherry alcohol) and a knife tip of bicarbonate of soda to put in at the end.

Don't you just love the little pot (which you can see in the window of the cheese shop)?  It's a small size that caters for 2-3 people. Today there were just the two of us!

Are you all having a wonderful Sunday?
