Snowdrops at St John the Baptist, Little Missenden

Driving past the church today I was struck by the comparison with St James Church at Gerrards Cross which I blipped on Friday.  This was established in 975 and is beautiful in such a different way.  A wonderful contrast.

I stopped to take a shot of the church - which is the extra photo I have added - but what captured my attention as I walked along the road to find a good position were the snowdrops at the far end of the graveyard.  I really like this shot.  The gravestones look like sentries on guard
