From the train passing through Chesterfield

There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile.
He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile.
He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.

And they all went to church which had a crooked spire
They perched on crooked benches to listen to the choir
And they cursed their crooked bosses and all the crooked squires
