Safe & Secure

Well this blip is Intothehillls, safety secure in an improvised rope stretcher. Incredibly it took just a few minutes to construct and it keeps the casualty warm, secure and very easily portable. Given that a Mountain Leader or climber always has a rope, this is a fantastically useful emergency carrying method.

An added bonus of course is that it also renders the casualty completely and utterly immobile! Hahaha!!!

Day two saw us in more complex practical scenarios and whilst a fun atmosphere was maintained, we did also learn a great deal. Of course we all hope never to encounter an accident, but if it does happen we are equipped with the skills and the confidence to cope.
