Arabesques

That's the name of a special Alsatian wine, which blends the most tender and aromatic grapes with those that were left to mature on the vine (vendanges tardives).  The result is quite spectacular in terms of body, color, and taste -- unlike anything you'd find in stores or restaurants outside of Alsace. 

I brought back a couple of bottles after my last trip and opened one up in celebration of a get together with good friends and former colleagues :)

(yes, I had to decant it because I unfortunately broke the cork!)
