Cimetiere de Montmartre

We had a good bit of time to kill before our train back to Londres today, but didn’t want to wander too far from the hotel. We looked in a guidebook and found that the cimetiere de Montmartre was within easy walking distance.
Because Montmartre is the arty district of Paris it is full of the glitterati of the arts. Here I have included shots of Dumas, Zola, Nijinsky, Heinrich Heine but I could have added a lot more (Jeanne Moreau, Francois Truffaut, Stendhal to name but a few more.)
Home this evening and meeting a friend in London who I haven’t seen since a Springsteen gig in 2005 so excitement much!
Have had a fab time and cannot thank sis enough for this trip - all her idea and financed by her too.
