Ups and downs

T's birthday. We started after breakfast with a Highland Safari. We were in an ex army 6 wheeled vehicle and drove through some rivers and rough ground to explore the snowy moors above Aberfeldy (see extras), hear about the history of the drovers and crofters and taste a wee dram in a bothy, although rather disappointingly we saw virtually no wildlife other than a fox!
Not sure what to do afterwards but decided to take a walk up behind Pitlochry passed Black Spout falls to Edradour distillery. On the way we saw a roe deer (extra) that came right onto our path, and T enjoyed flinging sticks and branches into the rapids....
Wandered over the dam and explored more of Pitlochry but gave up on tea and cake and headed back to the hotel for gin and tonics and another nice dinner.
