Bird Sanctuary

Got back to the Flamingos this afternoon. The hide is open till 4pm so we were able to get quite close to them. I can't quite understand the design of flamingos... those pencil thin legs supporting quite a large mass on the top! They look very elegant when they walk though.

Best viewed in large so you can see what they're up to... some were definitely having squabbles!

On a REALLY happy note, found a reimbursement cheque that G lost so was able to bank that. Bit of a food shop before getting home. All this is pretty mundane but G was able to be out and about for 2 hours without too much discomfort so big progress there. Tomorrow she has 2 doctors appointments with a couple of spare hours in between so she has to build her resilience up!
