Bus...ted

Off with the local walking group today. The Churton Park Walkers. Churton Park is a suburb of Wellington and todays walk was their yearly favourite called The Devonshire Tea Walk…. Right. Well it would…wouldn’t it. 62  (+/-) walkers thought so too.
You did have to walk about 11,000 staggers and 29 floors through the Rumituka mountains  and The Boss showed great style in the “Gate Climbing”  bit and the scones came in 3 choices as did the jam and the hot drink.
This image was out the bus window as he travelled (had to leave at 7.30 am) to the starting point and Wellington often turns on great skies in the morning.

Maenwhile Big T was going round the bend opps… Block with The Bossess who got this lovely pic of the nightly “Tree Adoration” that now occurs in what used to be a quiet corner of the lake. I am not sure what they are all expecting to happen but at least it’s high tide and they can’t climb it.
