Facts

UK Foreign Secretary gave a speech on Brexit today which was widely publicised to be a major event.

It is quite beyond me to listen to/watch that useless, self serving clown, so I rely on 3rd party reports about it. The consensus seems to be that it was embarrassingly bad.

Anyway, it gave me a Blip.

I don't mention politics much on here at the moment as every day brings several new disasters for the UK, much of it unreported by the UK media.

We don't talk much about it in the office either. We're too busy getting on with our work.

Today's highlights?

Well, Buster (see yesterday) made another cameo appearance and spilt a mug of tea over one of the PCs.

Next, Salma (our Edinburgh based colleague) spent the day with us. Team building I suppose. I suspect her work world - surrounded by politicians in the Parliament - is a long way from ours... directing families to the foodbank around the corner.

She totally bamboozled a constituent (one of our regulars who comes in to warm up over free coffee and biscuits) who asked if she's from Kirkcaldy. "No" she replied... "Syria". That shut him up. (It's true.)

Dinner was a highlight. Utter simplicity. A grilled (organic, free range) chicken breast with steamed kale. The kale recipe is wonderful.
