Dr Joan Martin. Someone who was always there, who was motivated by her faith to help others, first as a Doctor, then a guide leader, and then setting up clubs for disabled swimmers. I met her two years ago at the age of 99. My last memory of her is her pouring tea and coffee as she always did for the Friday lunchtime RCM recitals. Blessed to have known her, and to return for the service at my old place of work and catch up with people.
