Out of focus Window

This is my lounge room window. The scene looked fetching and the colours looked pleasingly saturated so I thought I'd shoot a picture. Upon raising the camera to my eye, I discovered that I'd inadvertently had the camera set to manual focus and that the subject was well and truly OUT of focus. There and then I decided that the resultant effect was actually more worthwhile than the original idea. Why not?
