Feeding the ducks

D-in-law and grandkids came round today with a request to see "if the ducks were frozen and have bread and bits for lunch", we duly obliged.
Feeding the ducks wasn't easy as most of the ponds are still frozen but we were able to scatter some seed on the ice which they could then get at. See extra.
One grandson gave Grandad his gloves to hold - and he then dropped them in the pond! As punishment G had to rescue them and hand over his own gloves (hence the very large gloves at the end of the red arms). The kids weren't being very co-operative in the photo and teh wee one had to be very forcibly restrained from joining the ducks.
Good job we had time to get some more food bought as the 3 youngsters made short work of pork pies, salami, cheese, fruit, bread and TUC biscuits!
Paeaceful afternoon after they'd gone and got some sewing done.
