Old Johnny Parsons

When Johnny's wife died in 2001, he started to make Tapestries of his memories.

He had been taught to sew and knit (the cardigan is his own creation) during the war so put his skills to great use when coping with bereavement. From memory, he creates beautiful and detailed tapestries of his life time of memories and he is prolific!

He is a man with with the strongest Wiltshire imaginable and his story telling is fascinating.  Today's story was about his wartime childhood spent on his grandparents' farm in Hampsley Hollow. (See extra)
