a lovely encounter

Pierre left this afternoon to go to Marseille. He was hoping to go out mountain biking with his friends tomorrow. He was to borrow his brother’s bike but when he got to his house, it turns out that the brakes aren’t working on the bike so Pierre can’t use it tomorrow :( Ah well, he still got some time with his brother and then he’ll stay with his cousin Benjamin tonight so that’ll be good.

Annie, Marius, and I went for a walk this afternoon. Miette the dog loved it when we walked past some horses. They said hello to each other; it was such a lovely moment.
