Farm sale Friday....

After everything was fed this morning I nipped away to a sale near Lauder . A local farmer/ contractor was selling up and there was a lot of big kit up for grabs.
There had been a feeder waggon advertised as an input that looked like it might do a job, but turns out it wasn't there !
A big crowd of folk but a lot there just for a look.
The tractors made up to £82k for a Fendt and I think this combine only made £90 k.
Came home to be informed that the shepherd has got himself another job so will need to find a suitable replacement by the end of April- not so easy these days. Ho hum.
