The Club, the flag

A good start to the day with time in the gym and a swim before work.

One of my kids whom I've talked with before about name calling is continuing to do so - both to the other children and adults. I spoke to the mother, who, while concerned, didn't seem to be as concerned as I thought she would/should be.

It's exhausting dealing with it!

The big flag at work fell down - too windy overnight (and dusty from a lack of rain). It's been replaced by bunting, lots of it....

One of the other kids started talking about how a child in a primary school was so badly beaten by his teacher that he died. It's been horrible. But the teacher wasn't from here, he said. Hmmm
