Stop and Smell the Daphne

The fragrance of the Daphne is intoxicating. As I walk in the neighborhood I can identify every yard with a Daphne bush......I am definitely enjoying walking this time of year. Yes, we had rain today AND a hard freeze is forecast this weekend.......isn't Spring almost here? Seems a little late for frost. I wonder if any of the fruit tree aren't damaged.

I went over to visit with my great granddaughter so she gets used to me again; when I went over the last time, she cried when I picked her up. :-(( Today, she and I were buddies again.  :-))
