Bella!

We're having a sleepover, just us two, for the first time in over a year. It has been splendid. We made dinner together, and then we made three different kinds of crystals with a crystal-mixing kit I got her for Christmas (they will need to grow for the next ten days, but they're well under way). After crystal-making we felt it only right to go out for dessert, and on the way we made photographs under street lights. She totally understood playing with light and shadow and created some very playful poses (see Extras), but this is my favorite. Back at home it was bath time and then reading a stack of books till she fell asleep. Ah, bliss. Tomorrow morning we're off to Ed's House of Gems.
