Fungi in Lickey Woods

For my lunchtime walk today I went to Lickey Woods looking for fungi. I figured that with the terribly wet year we have had it should at least be good for fungi, but surprisingly I couldn't find much at all. Is there such a thing as too wet for fungi?

I did come across this rotting log absolutely covered with small mushrroms - or are they toadstools? I have no idea really, but I won't be putting them in my cooking pot, that's for sure.
