we started off the morning over at the new Southside Urban Farmer Market, helped off the ground by our friends Adam and Robbie, whose bakery acted as HQ for the new endeavor. what a great community this is: ran into so many other acquaintances this beautiful fall morning, including our extremely hairy friend Clint. indeed, we picked up some baked goodies, coffee, and breakfast tacos, then headed over to let out Michael and Mel's dogs. Maggie, Mel's boxer, has this deathstare that doesn't break until you slowly back away. so nice to have friend's with a big, private backyard where you can just sit and eat and drink coffee under the shade of autumn oaks and giant falcons (seriously, we saw the two biggest hawk things soar overhead). a successful Saturday though we will need to pick up the pace tomorrow for the school work. and I need to finish up editing the photos from Pat and Andrea's wedding as well.
