Splendid day all round.

Got through a ton of work in the morning to earn my outing Eastwards to meet up with Jackson and Cam and the rest of his family for lunch at the lovely olde worlde Mayflower pub on the river. The boys had spent the morning bouldering with Peri. Joyously Jackson’s shoes were suitably painful.

The big news of the day came during lunch with J’s test results from Tuesday. He’s not there yet and there’s probably about 40% more Jackson to come (we are all bracing ourselves) but he has improved sufficiently to show that his HPA axis is healing and he has been officially discharged from the hospital.

Back home via a lovely walk along the river in the beautiful sunshine. A quick swim and turn around before Carlos and I headed out for what turned into a celebration dinner with friends at Quantus and cocktails at the Speakeasy next door.

Meanwhile Anna recovered from rock school with a big lie in and an afternoon trampolining with a couple of friends.
