Windmill "De Nieuwe Papegaai"

In the early Bruges day's the town had here nearby in this area about  23 windmills .All of them where demolished and replaced by "new" windmills removed from somewhere in Flanders.  But this windmill is original built in 1790 ! and its origin is also from a smaller village here in Flanders. It's rebuild here in Bruges in the year 1970. And it is one of the three windmills that still exist here in Bruges One of them is still in function and in summer open to the public. This windmill here is empty inside and not open to the public. Originally it was build to produce household oil .
Freely translated the name of this  windmill is "The new Parrot" A street nearby is named "Oil road" or Oliebaan.......
