Count Basie and a Friday Night

The Ohio State Jazz Band put on a free concert last night playing selections from the Count Basie Orchestra. I'm not all too familiar with his music, so this was a good opportunity to listen in and get to know some. I'm glad I did as the concert was well done.

Great end to what has become a normally hectic week of grad school!
