Park patterns

After a busy morning of chores, I headed up to see J. He’s not responding to treatment as well as we’d like, though he’s definitely a bit brighter. We had coffee and cake in the hospital cafe and the plan is he comes home for a few hours tomorrow. The current course of treatment is due to complete in the next couple of weeks and the 3 consultants who have seen him in the last couple of months have had very different ideas about what is going on. I’ve just requested a formal second opinion. Then we will be looking at what happens next. My opinion is that he is more capable than the ward setting requires him to be, and that what he needs is structured rehab.

Returning home I took a short walk around Parr Fold Park. At least the days are finally getting longer!
