Gutsy Move

Team Greylag Goose, affectionately known by their fans as TG, Top Gun, came storming through the finishing line to buzz the Tower.

Standing next to the TG coach who had  just spilt his tea I had been privileged to hear the commentary as they came in for their final approach and it was spine tingling stuff. Goose, following Maverick onto the deck,  constantly sticking in support as a wingman should, was feeling the need for speed and he got it. Someone quipped in the stands that, whatever else, there wouldn't be a request for a fly-by today! 

Gunning towards that finishing line they had, as pilots, appeared calm, unflustered and in complete control on their final approach streaking over the line at lightening speed. 

With the time showing an AOG games record, their  coach Viper, was ecstatic. 'Up there, we gotta to push it. That's our job. That's the best flying I've seen to date!' Holding the mic and asking if I could quote him he replied, 'Yup. Gutsiest move I ever saw!' 

There you have it folks straight from the TG coach himself. Just a walk in the park.
