March Wood

Lovely day for a walk, almost entirely to ourselves, along St Mary's Loch, and through March Wood. This is a remnant of the huge forests that once covered Scotland, and it's just a superb spot to explore.

Heading back we set out to cross over the Tall Reservoir, only to meet some mountain rescue guys walking down the road. They were out looking for someone, and when asked if it was passable ahead (the snow was getting more prominent the further we went on) they mentioned that they were walking because they'd had to leave their Land Rover on the other side.

And now, beer and Chinese potsticker buns (again Mel making the filling and me the casing, as per yesterday, though this time my labour is higher). Happy (Chinese) New Year!
