Of Sami, seals and cod tongues

Our last full day in Tromso.  Sunny - again - but colder at -8oC .  The day started off after midnight with some northern lights faintly visible in the city.  After a good breakfast off to the Tromso Museum - very good and informative with a large section on the Sami nation and culture.

Then on to the aquarium - Polaria - with some wide screen films of Svalbard wildlife and scenery, the northern lights and various displays of ocean life.  They have a sea pool with bearded and harbour seals.
Dinner in a lovely restaurant with a varied menu of cured whale; king crab; reindeer and   my starter - deep fired cod tongues.  Delicious - see extra.

Packing to head home tomorrow and work on Monday.
